Book of Mormon Chicago Mail!

Hey guys! After a month of no mail, I got mail today from the sit-down production of the Book of Mormon. I got a signed Playbill signed by the ENTIRE cast including Nic Rouleau and Ben Platt who play Elder Price and Elder Cunningham. This Playbill is from December 2012 which means it is the original Chicago sit-down company :) thank you BOM cast!

Corey Cott Mail!

Hey everyone! So glad to tell you that after about 2 months, I finally got mail today from Corey Cott who is currently playing the role of Jack Kelley in the broadway hit "Newsies!". He sent a full cast signed playbill which took about 5 days! :-) thanks Corey!

Etai Benshlomo mail!

 

Hey guys! Sorry much mail hasn't been posted! I got this about 2 weeks ago and have been so busy that I am barely posting about it know! :/ Sorry! Well, I got mail 2 weeks ago from Etai Benshlomo, the current Boq on Wicked on broadway and my personal favorite Boq! He sent me a signed picture and a letter! This took 13 months to get back! Wow! My longest response wait! Thanks SO much Etai! :D 

Andy Kelso!

Hey everyone! Well after a month of nothing, I finally got mail today! Today I got mail from Andy Kelso, current Fiyero on the 1NT, and who I saw as my very first Fiyero sent me a cast signed playbill from San Diego (which I sent him) and a personalized signed photo! Thanks Andy! You rock! :P

Carla Stickler Mail!

Yesterday, I got mail from the 1NT of Wicked's standby, Carla Stickler! This took about a month to get back and I was so excited to get it! I got a signed picture with a very nice note on the back! Thanks Carla! :D

Marilyn Caskey!

After a month, I got a reply from Marilyn Caskey ( the current Madame Morrible on the Wicked 2NT)! She sent me a signed picture, a signed playbill, and a very nice letter! I love the picture because it is of her new proshot! She is one of my favorite Morribles! This was my 25th response ever! Thank you so much Marilyn! :D

Phantom of the Opera Las Vegas!

Got this today from The Phantom of the Opera Las Vegas production! I got two cast signed playbills signed on the inside by the cast next to their headshots (which I kinda like!) It is signed by most of the cast! This was the first time I got two responses in one day! This took about 3 1/2 weeks to get back! Tiffany Haas!

After 6 1/2 months of waiting, I finally got a response back from Tiffany Haas (current Glinda, who is leaving soon, on the 2nd national tour of Wicked)! She sent a signed, personalized picture! I love this because she is leaving the show soon! This is also the first time I have gotten 2 responses in one day! Sorry for the sideways pic! Thanks Tiffany! :D

Once the Musical!

Today, I got two cast signed playbills from the stage manager of "Once: The Musical" I love these because they are full cast signed and they are nominated for the Tony Awards which are coming up soon! Thanks "Once" cast! :D

Stephanie J. Block Mail!

Hey everyone! I got a fan mail response today from Stephanie J. Block, the current Reno in "Anything Goes" on broadway and former Elphaba in Wicked on broadway and on tour! This took about 3 weeks to get back! She sent a signed (personalized) playbill that says "Henry, Smooth Sailing!"and a signed photo of her in the show that says the same thing! I love this because she is one of my favorite Elphabas! Thank you so much Stephanie! :D

Alli Mauzey Mail! (20th response! :D)

Well guys, its been a month and a half since I received Fanmail because I haven't sent any out! But I sent some out two weeks ago and finally got a response today from Alli Mauzey, who is the 1NT Glinda in Wicked! She will be my first Glinda when I see the show in a couple weeks! She sent a signed picture of her using her new proshot! Love it! This is my 20th response! Thanks so much Alli!:)

In The Heights 4/22/12

Hey everyone! After 2 weeks, I'm finally posting my review from when I saw In The Heights! The show was in San Jose and my tickets were $30 and in the orchestra! The theatre was about an hour and a half away from my house and I went with my dad! Oh, I put a bunch of proshots from the show in here as well :) in addition to my signed stuff. Enjoy!

The show was amazing! We got to the theatre about an hour early and we were the first people to enter the theatre. There was no one there! :P The show was AMAZING! The set was extremely similar to the broadway one! The cast was amazing! Some performers who really stood out were Perry Young as Usnavi (who seemed like he was trying to hard to sound like Lin but he was amazing!), Presilah Nunez as Vanessa (her singing was phenomenal, her acting was amazing, and her dancing was extremely good). Virginia as Nina was absolutely perfect! Better than Mandy Gonzalez in my opinion! She didn't do a lot of physical and expressional acting but she did an extreme amount of her acting vocally. She added a lot more innocence to the character which I loved! She had really great chemistry with the people who played her parents.

Tauren Hagans as Daniella was really funny and excellent in the role! Christina Aranda as Abuela Claudia was amazing! She brought so much character to the role! She made me believe that she was actually an elder lady even though she is like 20! LOL She got a lot of laughs! As did Robert Ramirez who played Sonny! The whole cast was perfect! They are a lot better than the bway cast! Which I have never seen but I have seen multiple bootlegs of the cast! 

Some of my favorite parts were "In the Heights"; I love when the company harmonizes when they sing "In the Heights/ I buy my coffee and i payyyyyyyyyyyy" lol Another one of my favorite parts was "Breathe" sung by Nina,  the Blackout scene/song.

There is a part in the show that is so sad and when it happened, my heart dropped to my stomach and I was so sad :( But I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it! But for those who have, you know what I'm talking about ;) and when the graffiti art that Graffiti Pete did was shown, I got so happy :D The Finale was particularly spectacular! The show was perfect! I rate this show a 96,000 out of 10 stars :)

STAGEDOOR:

I will not be posting my stagedoor pics because I'm having technical difficulties :/ But I will tell the stories! I went on the last night of the stop in SJ so the staff was loading all the set pieces into the truck that was like two feet away from the stagedoor. The first person to come out was Robert Rameriz (Sonny). He was super nice and signed my playbill and programme. One of the guys at the stagedoor asked him "Hey. Is it true that you have to be gay to be a successful actor?" He said "No" and the guy asked "so you're not gay?" and Robert said "no." How rude! But anyways, he was super nice!

The next person to come out was Tauren Hagans(Daniella). I told her she was great and she was super nice to me! She signed my playbill and programme and took a pic with me! Next out was Perry Young (Usnavi) He had family there that night and was trying to get out quickly but he signed my playbill/programme and took a pic with me! Next out was Presilah Nunez (Vanessa) and I talked to her on twitter the day before! She came out and I said "Hi Presilah I'm Henry" and she said "Flores?! I got your tweet at intermission but I couldn't answer it because I got called out on stage." She was really nice and signed my playbill/programme! :) We then got sent away by management because the staff was bringing the forklifts out to bring the big sets into the truck. It was a very successful stage door :)

SORRY THIS BLOG WAS SOOOOOO LONG! I WILL TRY TO CONDENSE THEM DOWN IN THE FUTURE! :D  

Wicked LLC (again)

Hey everyone! I got this from the Wicked LLC today! It took about 8 days to get back! This time I requested pictures of certain cast members and a signed playbill (if they still had any) from a Teal/Katie performance on broadway! I got a nice letter back, a signed picture of Jenny Fellner as Nessarose, a signed picture of Tom McGowan as the Wizard, a signed picture of Randy Danson as Madame Morrible, a signed picture of Chandra Lee Schwartz as Glinda and a signed picture of Jackie Burns as Elphaba! I love this response because I don't have any of these pictures and now I do! Thanks so much Wicked LLC! :D

Mary Poppins Mail!

Hey everyone! I got mail today from the Mary Poppins Broadway cast! This took me completely off gaurd! The playbill is signed by most of the cast and is from February 2012! And inside the playbill I got an understudy "at this performance"slip which I love! This took about 2 1/2 months to get back! Thanks so much Mary Poppins cast! These are all scanned :) I will start using my scanner from now on to show all my signed stuff up close!

Phantom Mail!

So excited to get this! Got this from the phantom stage manager signed by the principal cast. It has the new cover in black and white on the front which I like better than the original. This took about 2 months to receive!

Don Amendolia Mail!

I got this today from Don Amendolia today! He just finished his run as the Wizard on the 2NT about a week ago. This took 1 1/2 weeks! He sent a signed Playbill and photo. The playbill is from his last stop which makes it special! The picture and playbill are signed in a weird gold-yellow pen. But I love this! My first 2NT playbill! Thanks Don!
